 | Gordo, Prudy & Trudy are Parents!!! These chicks are only 2 days old. Heritage Bronze turkeys... we did it! |
 | "Gordo"
along with his two girl friends, Prudy & Trudy. Isn't it
amazing how much he's grown in six-months? (see picture below) |

 | One
unpleasant aspect of raising chickens is the spurs that can develop on
roosters. Once they become "armed" with these it can be a painful
experience for all. This picture shows the results of our first
de-spurring. Would you believe the process involved a baked
potato? FACT! |
 | It
can been said by those who raise chickens that "my pet makes me
breakfast every day." The fun we receive from this daily
basket of joy is unending. This is today's collection. The
small green egg in the lower left is a "first" egg from one of our
20-week old Americaunas. It will get bigger as she grows but she
is very proud of this "little" addition. |

 | This
is our pond. We had Shubunkin Goldfish but we think the frog's
appetites may have won over the day. Still, it is a pleasant
place to sit. |
